Logadhasan Suwedan, from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Logadhasan is pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical-Aeronautical). Logadhasan’s current CGPA is 3.83. He is a Mentor in Young innovators Challenge, Johor. State Level (2016). Logadhasan was the President of Persatuan Mahasiswa Hindu, UTM in 2015 and 2012. He was also the Exco for of External Affairs department, Institute of Engineers Malaysia, UTM (2014).
Outstanding Achievement in Postgraduate Studies
Dr Gobi Kanadasan has completed PhD in Chemical Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). An active researcher, Dr Gobi has won the Anugerah Sanggar Sanjung, USM - Journal Publication Category in 2013 and 2011. He has published in ISI Web of Science of journals and has served as a reviewer for IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition (2014, 2012). Dr Gobi has participated in community support initiatives such as providing consultation for SPM/STPM school leavers in Nibong Tebal and Parit Buntar.
Mr Arulkumar Periasamy is a final year undergraduate currently pursuing Bachelor of Chemical Engineering at School of Material Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His current CGPA is 3.76 and has been actively participating in many university and international programs. He was the Chairman of IEM Student Section in 2014 and he was a Malaysian delegate to University Scholars Leadership Symposium (USLS), Cambodia. Mr Arulkumar was the Vice President of Student's College Council in 2012. He has volunteered in community student development initiatives and has been awarded the Best Student Award of Persatuan Mahasiswa Hindu.

Dr Jeyanny Vijayanathan, from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has completed PhD in Soil Science. She is a member of Climate Change Task Force, Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) and is a Subject Matter Expert, FRIM World Heritage Site UNESCO (2014). She has served as the Chief Editor of the Malaysian Society of Soil Science Newsletter (2014-2015) and has won Publication Awards from Journal of Tropical Forest Science (2011, 2013 and 2014). Dr Jeyanny has actively participated n community support initiatives such TheMIND Association and was part of the Organizing committee, The National Indian Youth Convention 2010. She has also served as a judge at Science Fair for Young Children (SFYC) Zone KL & Selangor.
Mr Kathiravan Suppiah is a final year undergraduate currently pursuing Bachelor of Polymer Engineering at School of Material Engineering, University Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP). He currently holds a CGPA of 3.75 and has been actively participating in many intervarsity and national level competitions. During his studies, Mr. Kathiravan has won a gold medal in Material Exhibition competition at university level besides bagging three other gold medals at International Engineering Invention and Innovation Exhibition (i-ENVEX), Asian Young Inventors Exhibition (AYIE) and International Young Inventors Award (IYIA). He has also presented with Green Invention Award by Plastic Rubber Institute of Malaysia (PRIM) for his project. He is also an active volunteer for many community based initiatives that gives back to the society, particularly to the student groups via various educational mediums.
Ms Reena Sri Selvarajan is a final year student at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP). She is currently completing her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Electronic (Hons) Engineering, and has achieved CGPA of 3.85 in her studies. Throughout her undergraduate days, she has been awarded as the best student in school of mechatronic engineering with continuous Dean's List Award in many of her semesters. One of her excellent achievement is to be selected to participate in the IMT-GT (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand - Growth Triangle) inter-varsity student seminar held in Prince of Songkla university, Thailand, whereby she was given the opportunity to present her work on efforts to build integration among ASEAN countries. Ms Reena also has special interest in space science and founded the UniMAP Space Science Club.
Mr Aravinda Prasad just graduated with a Bachelor of Finance (Hons) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional with a CGPA of 3.89. Throughout his university years, Aravinda was actively involved and President Enactus Uniten, which is a part of a worldwide organisation that utilizes business concept to improve the lovelihood of underprivileged community. Throughout his involvement in Enactus, he had the opportunity to work with various communities. Currently, Aravinda is working with Teach For Malaysia, which is a non profit, non governmental organisation that aims to end education inequity in Malaysia.
Ms Banu Jothimalarr is a graduate of Bachelor of Art in Psychology, University College Sedaya International (USCI) with a CGPA of 3.77. Besides an excellent achievement in academic, Ms Banu had shown tremendous interest and participation at various social activities revolving around prevention of child abuse, women empowerment and animal rescue. She is currently a member of Soroptimist International Club of Bangsar, an organization concerned with empowering and developing women across various communities. She believes that leadership is a process rather than an attribute where it requires a constant learning. She is motivated to become a transformational leader. She is currently working as a caseworker with the International Rescue Committee.
Ms Nallyswary Thiagarajan has recently completed degree in Applied Science in Industrial Biotechnology at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) with first class honours (CGPA: 3.84). She has demonstrated excellent leadership qualities at various activities conducted at university level. She has led the sponsorship portfolio of 'Malam Pesta Cahaya' in 2011 and also 'Program Peningkatan Prestasi Pelajar' at faculty Level. In addition to her active participation in various programs, she was also a member of the Secretariat of Students' Representative Council, UMP.
Ms Shobana Nair Saseedharan is pursuing a degree in accountancy at Multimedia University with current CGPA of 3.73. She had represented Malaysia at the 1st Microsoft Innovative Students' Forum in Kuala Lumpur. Her passion in social welfare of marginalised community made her actively participate in activities that improve the literacy skills of marginalized communities via 'Children Behind Us' (CBU) project. Moreover, she was also selected as a speaker at the inaugural One Young World Summit in London on the topic 'interfaith dialogue'. In 2011, she was elected as a Global Teen Leader by the 'We are Family Foundation' and currently part of the advisory committee for online youth community, 'TakingITGlobal'. She is currently undergoing internship training at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia.
Ms Shamala Vadivelu is a final year student at University Technical Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), pursuing Bachelor of Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence. She has scored a CGPA of 3.80. She has participated in several national and international programs that were conducted to inspire university students for better achievement in career development and social responsibility. She was also selected for a student exchange program between Malaysia and Indonesia. Besides that she has participated in various activities at university based cultural and student development programs. She is currently attached to EDESK Malaysia as an intern.
Ms Asha Kanamuthy has completed degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Petroleum) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with first class honours (CGPA: 3.87). In her undergraduate days, she had been actively participating in many university based student activities and inter-varsity competitions. One of her excellent achievement is to have been selected as one of the Malaysian representatives for International Education Week at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) which was held on 11-14 November 2012. She believes that interconnection between education, soft skills and awareness among Indian students will heighten them to academic excellence which warrants a better profession. She plays an active role in social activities that create awareness amongst the local Indian community on the importance of higher education via student association. She also helped raise funds for tsunami victims.
Mr Bathmanaaban Gopalan is a graduate of Bachelor of Engineering (Petroleum) programme, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with a CGPA of 3.76. He held many positions at university and international based projects. He was the Vice Director for Improved Oil Recovery Symposium at National level and committee member for many oil & gas related conferences at International level. He was selected as one of the Malaysian representatives for International Education Week at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) which was held on 11-14 November 2012. His passion to contribute to the local Indian community was invoked when he was in secondary school where he was an active participant of 'Program Motivasi Kecemerlangan Pelajar India' which was organised by local volunteers. Since then, he has been a tutor for rural Indian students and intends to contribute to the educational development of rural Indian students. He is currently working with Baker Hughes Incorporated as a field engineer.
Ms Thilaga Ravinthar has completed Bachelor of Education (TESL) from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) with first class honours (CGPA: 3.70). While pursuing her undergraduate study, she was highly involved in social based co-curricular activities. She was part of the International Humanitarian Law Debate and The Malaysia Open Debate at international and national levels. Besides that, she rendered her services in 'Kecemerlangan Akademik Mahasiswa India' which is a programme that was specifically tailored for the development of Indian students. She is very keen in conducting research to identify the key problems that are faced by the Indian community and also to guide the school dropouts on utilising opportunities around them. As teacher, she is determined to educate the younger generation through her teaching, in order to transform them into citizens who will contribute significantly to the society and nation. She is currently attached with Sri KDU International School as a language teacher and will enrol into postgraduate study in Linguistics at University Malaya (UM).
Mr Tinesh Selvam has obtained Bachelor of Software Engineering (Multimedia) from Lim Kok Wing University with a CGPA of 3.77. He has cleared many obstacles to be where he is today. After his diploma, he failed to secure a place in public university. In order to educate his siblings, he worked as a factory operator. His unbearable thirst for education and unbroken faith made him enrol into a private university, with full scholarship. He was the organising committee member for many University and National level activities. He was also the Vice Chairman for Microsoft Gameon Event and 1MISM Video Contest. Besides that, he also conducted education based programmes for poor children and many charity visits to hospitals. He firmly believes that "without education, we are nothing and good education is nothing without strong values to strive and serve our society". He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Industrial Computing at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
