AWARD CATEGORY: OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES
 
Requirements:
 
To be eligible for TheMIND Award, undergraduate applicants must meet the requirements outlined below:
Must be a Malaysian Indian pursuing undergraduate study at any public or private institutes of higher learning in Malaysia.
Must be currently registered as final year students.
Must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.30.
Must have participated actively in societies/organizations/clubs/sports and/or community-based programs.
 
Award value:
 
RM1000, certificate and plaque
 
Evaluation Criteria
All applications will be evaluated based on the following components:
Academic qualifications.
Co-curriculum activities at higher learning institutes.
Supporting activities (Contribution to society and/or Innovative/Communication Skills).
Quality of essay on contribution towards achieving TheMIND Association's objectives.
 
 
AWARD CATEGORY: OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN POSTGRADUATE STUDIES
 
Requirements:
 
To be eligible for TheMIND Award, postgraduate applicants must meet the requirements outlined below:
Must be a Malaysian Indian pursuing postgraduate study at any public or private institutes of higher learning in Malaysia.
Must have successfully completed a research based postgraduate study.
Must have graduated or will be graduating from January - December 2018. (Potential applicants without Senate letter / certificate are not eligible to apply for this cycle).
Must have publications in reputable journals.
 
Award value:
 
RM1500, certificate and plaque (Masters)
RM2000, certificate and plaque (Doctor of Philosophy)
 
Evaluation Criteria
All applications will be evaluated based on the following components:
Publications (journal articles)
 - Masters: at least 1 publication
 - PhD: at least 2 publications
Supporting activities (Contribution to society and/or Innovative/Communication Skills).
 
    Shortlisted applicants will be called in for an interview.
    Deadline: January 15, 2019
 
Note: The final decision on eligibility and merit lies with the TheMIND Education Fund Panel.
